UL817 standards Each conductor shall be fastened to the terminals of fittings in a manner that:
a) Keeps strands of any conductor from contacting either uninsulated live parts of opposite polarity or dead metal parts.
b) Provides mechanical security in accordance with Conductor Secureness Test, Section 81.
c) Provides adequate ampacity in accordance with Temperature Test, Section 87.
d) Keeps strands from surfacing in a molded-on fitting.

UL/CSA Approved Power Cords

Hipot Test is short name of high potential (high voltage) Test.

Hipot test is an insulation test to ensure that current does not flow from one point to another point where it should not flow( turn up the voltage really high just to make sure no current will flow).

Hipot testing will help find damaged insulation, corrosive contaminants around conductors, terminal spacing, and tolerance errors in cables, etc.

Hospital Grade Power Cords

Connectors are Hospital Grade N5/15 to C13. 18 AWG cable is Gray, connector mold options are Gray and Clear.

International Power Cords Meets VDE and Several Other Approvals

Connector options are CEE7/7 to C13 and EN50075 to C7, color is Black.

Universally Approved Jumper Cords - Domestic and European Approved, UL/CSA, VDE

Connectors are C13 to C14, lengths are 3’3″ (1.0m), 6’7″ (2.0m) and 9’10” (3.0m). Heavy duty cable is 18 AWG, color is Black.
